"Pillar Floors is under new management. Alfredo and his crew are top-notch! They work efficiently and promptly, and clean up after themselves on a daily basis. I was worried about the dust from sanding floors, but I didn't have to be. They used bags on the machine and covered my belongings with drop cloths; there was minimal cleanup. We had our hardware maple floor of 23 sanded and had 3 coats of water-based stain added. We love the finish! Alfredo came and showed us samples of stain and finishes before deciding. We are glad we stayed with Pillar Floors from our first install!"

Just finished my 2-level, 4000 sq ft 1850s home in Mystic, and they have become my BEST contractor. I read the other review, and it is clearly not a customer, as these guys were great.

Alfredo followed up his visit with a quote the next day. His price was very close to the next contractor, but he moved the furniture himself rather than having us coordinate with an outside mover. Put 3 coats on, and they were simply the easiest and best to work with.

They cleaned up every day and, since we were still in the house, coordinated what and where they would work the next day. Could not be happier with Alfredo and crew. The very best contractor I have worked with for some time.
